For the mama who's done being a martyr, and ready to be fully f*cking alive, village or not. If you've been looking for moms like this, honey, you found us.

The world sold us one version of motherhood: the martyr. The tired, touched-out, "just wait until you have kids" version. The one where a good mother makes herself an afterthought, and self-care means booking a babysitter you don't even have.

but okay let me be honest,
i've been there too.

In early postpartum motherhood cracked me wide open, and not in a nice way... Yes, my house was pristine. Yes, my baby was never bored for a second. And yes, ofcourse I fully stepped into the 'sacrifice-myself' role that everyone says is just motherhood. I owned that role with every part of my perfectionistic being, and wouldn't you know it....

I got resentful, snappy, and everyday felt like an uphill battle of "Why can I not get this right", and "Why is this so hard?"— all followed by a big fat cry to my mom about my husband still being able to do everything when I couldn't, not anymore.

Something needed to change, because the way I was going about things was just not working anymore, I started  and the only advice I'd find on the internet was to leave the kids with their grandparents, take time apart from them or send them to kindergarten. I don't have childcare or a village, and hiring a nanny or sending my kid off to daycare simply didn't feel right.

the change started

happening when...

I realized that I didn't want motherhood to be

a season of life where I'd just be void of life,

energy, and love for myself.

I didn't want to  keep reenforcing the story that motherhood was just a sacrifice of all of me, because if I did I'd be miserable in motherhood quite literally forever (or at least for 18+ years, lol). The breakthrough came I started opening myself up to the idea and new truth that perhaps self-care didn't look the way I was familiar with from my maiden days, but that taking care of myself in this new season of life was definitely possible.

So I started putting myself back on my to-do list. I had to learn to fill my cup in the midst of motherhood, right there alongside my daughter. A walk outside every day. Candles lit in the shower with my daughter at my feet. Moving through a hard moments together instead of waiting until she's asleep. And slowly, I started to feel good. The resentment started fading (I actually started liking my husband again, thank the lawd). And I started feeling more like myself than I ever had before.

Motherhood is the medicine that allows us to shed alllll the parts of ourselves that no longer serve us, and be introduced to a version of us that is hotter, more fun, more wild and muuuuch more free. If we let it.

Mother Pleasure is how we make that version of motherhood our everyday reality,
together.

A place to come home to all of you: the mother, the lover, the seductress, the wild child, the creative.

Pleasure can become a way of living motherhood, inside the mess, alongside your kids. To surrender to it all still thrive, even without childcare, a village, or the support we yearn for. Motherhood, no matter the conditions, can become a place where we become more of ourselves than we ever have been. It is here that we start to feel truly present with life, shadow and light.

Inside Mother Pleasure you get the roadmap to all of it: simple practices to regulate, free movement practices to energize / release / seduce / and more, and... intimate spaces,  a circle of mothers who don't just reply to a random story you posted of your life as a mom, but mothers who know you intimately, deeply and honestly. Where you can ask all the questions that have been burning inside, and finally find people who can relate and actually share what worked for them. Together, and intuitively, we create a new way of motherhood.

Motherhood & making pleasure a non-negotiable is the core of it all. The path there looks like...

A live movement practice each month, devoted to a feeling: rage, sensuality, energizing, releasing. No choreography, no "right" way. Just your body leading and flowing with the music: shaking, growling, swaying it out. Feeling and moving our emotions. Every session is recorded and stored in our library.

Whether you're deep in early postpartum or years in, there's a place for you here.

this is for you if...

You're committed to the idea that motherhood has to mean suffering and being a martyr until the kids are grown. Bless your heart honey, but this isn't your space.
